Create custom alarms
MultiTimer is a free system utility software that allows you to set up multiple alarms throughout the day. Developed by TRYANDERROR, INC., this handy lightweight tool is easy to use and doesn’t really require much technical know-how to operate. You can do either scheduled timers or countdown timers to suit your needs. The program can come as either a portable application that can be launched directly or as an installable program.
Hassle-free timers
There are many multi-timer tools available due to their simple use. You can easily take your pick depending on how many features they offer, how well they perform, and even how their interfaces look. While MultiTimer by TRYANDERROR, INC. is one of the many miscellaneous utilities created by this developer, it’s still a convenient option to have. This software offers two main functions as evident by its only two tabs: Countdown and Regulary.
In the Countdown tab, you can set four fields: Timer, Sound, Monitor, and Execute. To change the numbers on Timer, simply click on one and either type it or use the arrows to toggle it. Sound lets you choose whether your audio will be muted or let it ring out. Monitor can either turn your screen off or wake it. Meanwhile, Execute is for setting up programs, files, and commands to run when the time’s up.
In the Regulary tab, there are more features available such as letting you create recurring timers. Here, you can’t set specific dates—instead, you can choose which days of the week the alarms will ring. You can create more than one timer and even simply disable it when you don’t need it instead of deleting it. You need to click “Apply” in order to save your changes. Likewise, you can choose “Reject” to undo anything.
Great for any user
All in all, MultiTimer is a great tool to use if you want to create custom alarms at any time. Whether it’s for a certain hour or time that you can set for a number of days, its user-friendly interface is easy enough to navigate. It doesn’t have some of the advanced features other similar programs have, however, such as alarms for a specific date and the option to customize alarm sounds.
